USB 2.0 issue in T40, what about usb in port replicator?

I have one of those t40s that have corrupted usb 2.0 (only 1.1).

And I'm wondering... if port replicator with one usb will work at 2.0 ?

Don't think so: the port replicator is just a pass through so it will pass through whatever functionality the T40 is providing.

I had this problem on my T40 when I would constantly get a message that my device can be used in a 2.0 port or in a unix interface my hubs would keep going in and out.

My resolve, I had to replace the mobo.
