Hi!
I changed orginal CD/DVD ROM (Hitachi DVD-ROM GD-S200) to other new (DVD-RAM Drive: Matshita UJ-840s) on ThinkPad T22 (Type 2647-4EG). It fits in UltraBay 2000 well, works, but have some problems:
- do not read DVD disks, but hardly reads CD disks
-can not boot from DVD disks (linux Live CD for example (disk is fine))
-boots from CD disks - but very slowly, finlay hangs.
I have latest BIOS from IBM site, so where is problem? Too new DVD drive? BIOS old or what? Any solutions?
Thanks!
