Dock II snug fit with T43?

How well does a T43 fit into the high-end Dock II (287710U)? I'm currently using a Port Replicator II, and it doesn't seem to fit so well. Everything works, but I don't like how the Thinkpad is just sort of impaled on the hardware interface of the replicator.

Does the Dock II fit snugly? Do the connections snap into place with a reassuring click, etc.?

This kind of thing bothers me enough that I would upgrade if I knew that the Dock II had a much better fit.

I guess I am not sure what you mean about the fit of the thinkpad to the port rep, I have used both the port rep and port rep II and the dock and they are all the same. Your TP should have a small white triangle (arrow) to match up with the triangle on the port rep or the dock, this will center the TP to the connector on the rep to the connector on your TP. Remember that the top portion of the dock or the port rep needs to be slid back for the T4x and slid forward for the T2x.

On my port rep, I do get something like a click when I dock my T42P and T41.

Well i have a port replicator II and it fits nicely in there. I was however thinking of getting a Dock II. I don't think the connectors are any different so they both should fit nicely on both.
