This model of the T23 has a COA for Windows 2000, not XP. If you aren't providing the COA sticker for your XP installation, then it's not legal.

What I wrote still applies. It's the COA sticker that comes with the full retail copy that makes it legal.

It was installed using an XP Volume License I own, and I do not have a sticker for it.

I will just format the drive if the buyer doesn't want XP...

The Thinkpad has no COA sticker on the bottom and hasn't for the time I've owned it (see picture).
