PC2-5300 is often for sale here in the marketplace forum, get it from any major RAM manufacturer, or from Lenovo directly. I recommend Crucial, I am sure there are many more manufacturers with PC2-5300 that would work in your T60.

Download and run CPUZ. It should tell you the manufacturer. If it doesn't you'll have to remove the palm rest to see.

For a strange reason, it can't read SPD nor vendor info. I plan to drop a mail to Frank D. to solve this issue. My T60p have a 1 GB stick manufactured by Samsung (and of course with Samsun chips).

CPUZ has it's limitation, it works on most system boards, but on other, it doesn't.

The best way for the OP to find out the manufacturer is what Harryc suggested about opening up the palmrest.
"I've come a long, long way," she said, "and I will go as far,
With the man who takes me from my horse, and leads me to a bar."
The man who took her off her steed, and stood her to a beer,
Were a bleary-eyed Surveyor and a DRUNKEN ENGINEER.

Everest is also not able to read SPD and memory data from T60.
