T60 Hang on boot, HELP

I just installed a couple of pieces of software and now upon booting my computer hangs at the message "Checking the status of the embeded security chip" Setting the security chip to disabled or the other setting seem to have no affect. It still hangs at the same point during boot. After leaving it for some time there is still no change.

If anybody knows how to resolve this problem it would be greatly appriciated.

PS. the software i installed was MagicIso and MagicDisc

through some digging i was able to find that this is a problem with the software that others have had issues with.

It can be fixed by disabling the security chip in the bios, booting windows to safe mode with f8, uninstalling the software, re-enabling the security module, and restarting to windows normally.
