Question about EVDO connectivity after a system restore

#1 Post by Icee » Thu Aug 02, 2007 3:08 pm

I'm going to be doing a full system restore on my T60p that has EVDO activated on it. I was wondering, will I be able after the full system restore to use the EVDO right away or does it require a call to Verizon for reactivation?

I'm just wondering if I should write down any and all information I have before I wipe the drive.

Thanks!

Activation status resides with Verizon, not your PC. Therefore, your activated Verizon EV-DO card will reconnect immediately after doing what you describe, without the need for you to call Verizon.

The only information required to (re)validate the activation is the ESN built into the EV-DO card. You can see it using the VZAccess Verizon utility and you can note it for future reference, if needed.

This would always be a good idea under any similar situation.
