T61 with a standard 14" display?

I'd like to replace my 4-year old T40 that has a standard 14" hi-res (1450x1000 approx.) display. The display and form factor is perfect for my work. Will there ever be a similar display offered for the T61? I really have no need for a widescreen (I think). Thank you for considering my question.
