Generally speaking about integrated vs dedicated..

Does the picture quality of integrated still lag behind dedicated cards? What about older dedicated cards? How would a Rage Mobility (M-M1) fare against an intel GMA950 card in 2D applications? Picture still better? What about a Rage Mobility 128? In terms of 3D performance, aren't integrated cards as of now around a Geforce 2mx or something? Or do they simply have the pixel pushing power with none of the bandwidth, therefore don't scale to higher resolutions too well..?
