What LCD's will fit A20m (14.1")??

#1 Post by leasure98 » Sun Aug 05, 2007 4:11 pm

What screens can I buy that will fit an A20m 14.1"? I rebuild a lot of Thinkpads. I sold an A20m and the customer ran over the screen with his car. Screen cracked and hinges are slightly bent, but it boots up. The screen casing is OK. I think the T20 series of screens will work, but I need more suggestions for an eBay search. Thanks!

First thing to do is to get on the Lenovo site and download the correct Hardware Maintenance Manual for the ThinkPad you are working with. It will give you the manufacturer and part numbers that you need.

OK, thanks. Checked all around. T20 series, A20 series (duh) and A30 series will all work. Case closed!

If it's not the exact same model that was in the machine, you'll want to make certain you get the cable as well. Typically, the cable is specific to the panel.
