Cloning T60 machines using SATA

#1 Post by shorgan » Mon Aug 06, 2007 2:22 pm

Does anyone have a perfected method of cloning machines across Sata/IDE platforms. We are able to make these images work by manipulating the SATA compatability mode in the system BIOS, but are looking to see if anyone has a better method, or can explain the downside of leaving the BIOS in compatibility mode instead of AHCI.
