R61i -- Driver Problem for ethernet and sound in XP PRO

Hi everyone i recently bought R61i and i installed XP PRO on it however it doesnt take the ethernet driver provided by lenovo and also there is a question mark over PCI device and i dont know what it is for can someone help me out with this drivers pelase.

Current:-- TP R61i--1.66ghz,80gb,14.1wxga,6cell,Intel R 965 express.

AFAIK, there are several drivers for ethernet since some models using different chipsets. Probably you need to try another one. Mine R61 uses IntelPro while Broadcom version is also available for download.

how did you manage to install xp?

I got a R61i with vista preinstalled, when I tried to load windows xp on start up, it saids my harddrive cannot be found... please advise.

You need to change the HDD settings from SATA to Compatibility mode in the BIOS.
