R60 or R61, T61, or T60
I was wondering. theres a R60 for sale:
- Intel Core Duo processor T2300E (1.66GHz)!
- 15.1" high resolution LCD (1400x1050)! It is NOT a wide screen but you get a display range like a 20" LCD!
- 6 cell battery!
- 1GB DDR2 RAM, up to 3G!
- 100G 5400RPM HDD!
- ATI Radeon X1400 video card, 128M dedicated video memory! up to 512M if you upgrade RAM to 1G!
- Fingerprint scanner!
- 24x CDRW/DVDRW!
- GigaBit LAN!
- 802.11 a/b/g wireless!
- 3 USB2.0, VGA, S-video,Audio Out/Mic, PCMCIA!
- IEEE 1394!
- Modem for Data/Fax/Voice!
- Intel Hi-Definition Stereo Speakers!
- Genuine Windows XP Professional!
- 1 Year International Warranty!
$1000 (including shipping)
I was wondering, if I should jump on this, or wait to see if someones selling a R61 or T60 or T61 at around that price? my major question is are R60's good quality compared to the others?

Personally, I'd go with a 1,83Mhz C2D.
Otherwise I'm very happy with my R60 after 6 months use, the 15" 1400x1050 really is beautiful and a wonderful workspace, especially if you use ObjectDock to get rid of the Windows bars at the bottom like I did.
