Battery life difference between A2Xp series and A30P?

#1 Post by imzjustplayin » Wed Aug 08, 2007 1:49 am

I'm looking at the IBM tawbook.pdf file and it says that the A30p gets like 2.5hours of battery life while the A22m gets 3.5hours of battery life and the a22p getting 4 hours of battery life. The A30p has a six cell just like the A22m yet gets a full hour less and I'm wondering why. I'm also wondering why isn't there an option for a 9 Cell battery for the A30p laptops. How could there be an hours difference in battery life if they're both running pentium 3s?

The difference would be the type of screen used...I'm certain that it takes a lot more juice to run a FlexView on A30P when compared to regular UXGA an A22p...and there is no extended battery for the A3 series...

Hope this helps...
