Wireless connections was working fine this morning. Powered off my laptop then powered it back on later in the day and all of my connections in my "network connections" folder disappeared!
I managed to get my lan port back up and in the folder, but my 1394 & Wireless Connection does not show up in my network connections folder. I even tried a usb wireless adapter and it doesn't show up in my network connections window.
Initially I thought maybe hardware failure, but this doesn't seem to be the case. Even my 3rd party wireless cards (wifi pc card and usb style wifi adapters don't show up).
I have checked device manager and it shows that everything is there and working properly, but I can't even turn on the internal wifi card using fn+f5.
Anyone know what could be causing this?
I thought IBM Thinkpads were supposed to be legendary, but with intermittent problems here and there, I'm beginning to wonder.
I have a 2531-mtu Z60M Thinkpad
All Wireless Connections have disappeared (Z60M)!
