T60p and GPU temp problem

#1 Post by yangkuan81 » Wed Aug 08, 2007 10:37 am

Hi, all,

I have been using a T60P for several months but recently it gets really hot when I play some games. It might even freeze for a couple of seconds during the game.
I checked the system temp and it turned out that the GPU is constantly in high temp, above 60 even when the laptop sits still.
Is that the same as other T60P s you all have? BTW, I have FireGL5250 graphics card inside.

Best
have a nice one
Kuan

Remove the keyboard and use some dry air to get the dust away.

HI,
I have the same question few months ago and the answer is - theri is nothing that you can do.

You can use TPFANCONTROL to monitoring the temp and lower fan noise.

Dont worry 60 is veriy nice temp for GPU.

Best regards
