Upgrading from T41p to T61p- improvements in screen quality?

Hello,

3 years ago I bought a T41p.. fantastic machine and haven't had a single problem with it. But it's time for an upgrade and I'm going to get a T61p.

Would there be any improvements in the screen quality (colour, brightness, contrast) on the T61p compared with the T41p?

I'd be going for a 14" screen.

well besides the fact that the light in your LCD has degraded over the years and a new one wouldn't have that problem. You might however still get a lil boost in brightness because i think the newest LCDs are brighter too, 180-200nits. I'm not sure how bright your other one was but it's not the same as it originally was anyways so even if the new scren is the same it might still seem a lil brighter.
