T43 TAPI error 80000048, fix?

Hi everyone,

I couldn't open Phone and Modem Options (Start>Control Panel>Phone and Modem Options) Whenever I double click on it, I get the message: "Phone and Modem Options can not be opened. You may have a problem starting telephony services." Also, HyperTerminal spits out the message: "Windows has reported a TAPI error (80000084). Use the Phone and Modem Options in control panel to ensure that a modem is installed properly"

The last time I connect internet succesfully via Cingular Option GT max data card was in July 21, 2007. Called att tech support reps and they stuck at the step above. I'm running XP PRO, Wifi, LAN, and tethering via USB phone connection (PPC phone WM6) work fine.

How should I fix this issue?
