Slow mouse response with Office 2007/T60/Advanced mini-dock

Hi,

I have a T60 and and advanced mini-dock. I also have a lenovo optical usb mouse plugged into the dock. When I run office 2007 (word, powerpoint, excel), the mouse is sometimes very delayed, especially when moving/resizing pictures or charts. If I plug the mouse directly into the laptop, even while the laptop is in the docking station, there is no problem.

Some co-workers have the same setup, but are using office XP and have no problems. Any help or ideas are appreciated. I am considering getting a bluetooth mouse and see if that helps. I would like to avoid constantly plugging and unplugging the mouse into the laptop every time I sit down at my desk.

I almost wonder if this is an office 2007 issue. I don't have this problem with any other software, even some simulation software that is quite memory intensive.
