how update firmware on a DK23FB-60 60GB - remove 2010 error?

so i got a new hard drive, a DK23FB-60 60GB, but i'm getting the 2010 error. i went through the thread at

and i realize that i need to update the firmware, but i can't figure out the version control phase and checksum file. maybe i'm dumb or something...

the FW.PRO file says
