Thinkpad R50e: Fn key doesn't work

#1 Post by n4ad » Sat Aug 11, 2007 1:06 pm

Hello everyone,
I am wondering if someone might please help me. I have a Thinkpad R50e running Windows XP. For some time now, the Fn key hasn't worked. I am sure that it was working when I first bought this PC.
None of the Fn key combinations work, and I would truly appreciate some tips about how to get this working.

As a side note, I have verified that TPHKMGR.EXE is indeed running.

Thank you

You should remove the key and blow some air where the key goes into the keyboard, maybe something is avoiding the key to make contact in the electronic board
