problem after upgrade Rescue & Recovery 4.1

Hi every one,
I installed Rescue and Recovery 4.1, and when boot to it(Rescue and Recovery) an alarm appears say that the file /mimi/?.log(I fotget!) damaged, and suggest to Chkdsk, but when I go to windows and want to check disk an error occurred and don't finish it, what's the problem?

Are you sure the upgrade caused the problem? How long before you upgraded did you successfully boot to R&R?

I don't know if this will help, but you could try going to the BIOS setup menu and Disabling the Security for the Predesktop Area, then booting into Windows and running CHKDSK. Once finished, be sure and reset the Security for the Predesktop Area back to Normal.

Actually, I think a better method would be to run CHKDSK from the Recovery Console. If you have a Windows install CD lying around, you can run the Recovery Console by booting up from it.

If you still have problems, you may have to uninstall and reinstall R&R 4.1 after running CHKDSK.
