Blast you, FedEx!!! My T41p has been lost for 2 weeks now :(

I got it on eBay, and it was a real one too, after about 6 laptops that ended up being Western Union scams... So it's finally shipped, and life is good, and then FedEx loses it!!

They forgot the Customs paperwork from the seller, so they came back and got it, but then re-entered the item into their system for the 2nd time for some reason, and under the same tracking number... So no one can track it, and their website says it's "Delivered" AND "In Transit".

After two weeks of the seller and I being told to "wait another day" and "It was last seen somewhere in Ohio", FINALLY I got a call yesterday, saying they have the laptop here in Canada... JEBUS!! But they have no paperwork, so it didn't clear customs... They're supposed to call me again this afternoon...

Never trust anything with the word Federal in the name!!

Nah it's for real, unfortunatelly.. Altough I did mail a copy of the story to Peter Jackson.. He said he may use it if they can find a stunt double for the real T41p.

Man, you must have saved one sh** ton of money as it sounds like you have been through quite the ordeal. I prefer to work hard, save my money, and not get hassled. Playing games like it sounds like you have been with shady eBayers its just too stressful for me to save a couple hundred dollars.

I think it was a good deal, I paid $1500 for a 2373-GEU manufactured around May with a 3 year warranty.. But anyway, yes, FedEx is the bain of my existence right now... And the seller is good, he offered me a refund just a few days after they lost it. but I don't want a refund, I want my laptop!! I HATE YOU FEDEX

So what happened, did it ever get delivered? It's a pretty common scam by shady sellers on ebay to mail something to the wrong address so it will get "lost"!
