A22M keep shutting off, can't load XP

I fix the screen problem and format the HD. Now I can't get XP to load, because it keeps shutting off. I got a message that states keep going into Going into Hibernation Mode 3 timing and something about turning that feature off. I clicked on the yes button and it still doing it.

This didn't happen until I download the "Power Management" from IBM website.

What is that I doing wrong or I need to do something else.

Check that the cover switch is not making without the cover being closed. Also, you can turn off or choose events to occur on closing the cover in Power Management. I think 'hibernation' is default, so switch it to 'do nothing' as a test.
