by the way, anyone know how to request a XPP recovery CDs from Lenovo because I'd like to downgrade from Vista Ultimate?

T61p uses the same Ricoh R5C847 chipset as the X61 (which does support SDHC), so I think your odds are very good. But I don't have a T61p to check ...

If the T61 supports it, there's no way the T61P wouldn't:

even if it doesn't, install the hotfix pointed here http://forum.thinkpads.com/viewtopic.ph ... t=kb923293 and even an old faithful x40 can read sdhc (of course i had to find this solution 2 weeks after a bought a crdbus reader...
