ExpressCard slot on 4:3 14.1 SXGA+ T61p?
ExpressCard slot on 4:3 14.1 SXGA+ T61p?
when choosing my configuration, I chose the
PC Card Slot & Express Card Slot
option.
from what i've heard, the 4:3 models dont have an integrated media card reader which is something I really want.
I'm just wondering what is the cheapest available media card reader (SD needed) that will be flush when inserted into my thinkpad?
I was looking at http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.a ... 6820270001
but am open to any suggestions, thanks!

I believe you can sign up for Google Checkout and get $10 off that price as well. I found a bunch of other PC Card media adapter for less than $15 as well, search around.
Another one...

And there are a buch on eBay for $9 with $6 shipping.

I see that someone wrote in the comments that this won't take the SanDisk Extreme II - I have the SanDisk Extreme III. Has anyone used this with the Extreme III?
Slow slow slow ... if you want your Extreme III to perform at reasonable levels, you need a CardBus card. I have the Delkin one, and it works well, and works far faster (at least 5x) than the non-CardBus versions.ocellaris wrote:http://www.compuplus.com/i-Sandisk-6-in ... u8qtq570e4
