Access Connection is no longer in charge?

#1 Post by mattkrass » Sat Aug 18, 2007 12:34 pm

I rebooted my laptop (T61-7662-CTO, Vista Business) today after disabling a few services that were eating memory, including Windows Wireless Auto Config. When it came back up, Access Connections is now insisting that Windows is in charge
The current wireless connection is being managed by the Windows Wireless Service or another service.
and the only way I can get it to connect is by restarting the aforementioned service, but Vista is a bit spotty with my network management and I perfer AC, so how do I make Vista relinquish control to AC? On Windows XP it was easy but I cannot find a similar control in Vista.

Also, my laptop travels a lot and AC has made it possible to not garner a huge headache trying to manage all of my profiles, so please no "Don't use Access Connections" garbage here.
