I would guess so for T40/41/42 with no-1802. T4x doesn't have the 3rd antenna out of the box though.

You will be missing one antenna connecton and it will not be on the T4x PCI whitelist, so you will also have the 1802 error and no Access Connection support issues to deal with.

would this card not work due to the 1802 error? is there a work around?

i'm also confused with this 3rd antenna issue. i recenly installed an atheros-n card on a macbook and it only has two antennas as well, yet there was a noticeable increase in speed and range. also, i think the new core 2 duo macbooks that have the n card installed only has two antenna leads as well. i'm assuming that the 3rd antenna is needed for mimo?

Search this forum for 1802 error using the Search button at the top of the page (tip, choose: "Search for all terms"). There are a couple of fixes, but I am not sure if they *always* work.

If anyone is interested, I've been looking for some mini pci (not pci-e) draft n cards and the only place I've found them is on eBay:

I haven't bought one yet, but I'm tempted. With my current Draft N setup I can have enough real bandwidth for 3 HD streams (300Mbps is a pipe dream).
