How to configure fancontrol utility to run at Windows start?

#1 Post by frankiepankie » Sun Aug 19, 2007 5:31 pm

Hello
i use the fan control always, every day on my T40, but i want to know how to configure fan control to start at windows startup.
I have a shortcut on my desk now, and i configured the .ini settings file so it starts minimized in my tray, but i want that i don't have to click the shortcut.

How can i realize this?

Drag and drop the shortcut into Start -> Programs -> Startup folder.

Thanks for the suggestion, but i tried it, and yes it works, but sometimes if i boot my lappy it says it couldn't find "WinIo.sys"

The WinIo.sys is in the tpfancontrol directory, but i guess my laptop boots too fast, so the utility tpfancontrol will load, but the booting goes so fast, there is no time for WinIo.sys to load.

You can try the service version of tpfancontrol. It should show up in old post search in the forum.
