The question is will this work or better yet has anyone done this? I have formated the USB Memory Device and Made it bootable with MS Dos. But I can not get it to boot. I have the USB enabled in the Bios. And yes I even changed the boot order. I even disabled the other boot options but that did not work either. Maybe I am beating a dead horse. What do you guys think?

Did you format it in XP? XP didn't give me the option of creating a bootable disk on the USB flash drive.

Go here and download the HP USB boot format tool. It worked for me!

This worked on a non-HP or DiskOnKey device. Also, didn't need a USB 2.0 for it, like the HP site says you need.
