TV output problem - T42, Radeon 9600 mobility

Hi,

I cannot switch video output to my TV (cable svideo-SCART, already tested on different machine and working).

After a quick research on the web I realized that a proper TV button should be available on my display properties/settings/advanced section, but unfortunately it is not there.

Do you have any ideas what to do ? (the best solution would an utility software like TV-Tool for NVidia cards, yet I could not find anything like this for ATI cards)

To complicate this issue I cannot upgrade my video drivers to latest version, because first they need to be approved by administrators in my company and distributed to all users, what takes TIME....

i just recommend to wait for admin to come to install newest driver
for you. i think you could fix your problem by simply updating ati-driver.
i remember same thing happened to me before. i got rid of that problem
by replacing older driver.
