T20 Internal Wireless Project log (pic album in link)

ok, i am starting a project log here for those who wish to install Internal wireless on their Laptop.

Up for the Mini PCI slot is the TI ACX111 MiniPci card i pulled form a broken Linksys wrtp54g i found.

i used the drivers for the Airlink AWLC3025 PCMCIA card by Downloading the EXE and Extracting the files with 7-ZIP
Note: this card has poor linux support

for the Antenna i will use this:

i will be installing 1 behind the LCD and 1 under the Keyboard, because based on The forum here everyone gets better reception with the Antenna in the plam rest based on the metal in Laptop, but i may cut a hole.

i didnt pay atention and ordered a set form China... so it will be a couple of weeks before i get them grr....

I've seen these antennae in an Ebay auction (Article no. 320146077885), and the seller had installed them both underneath the palmrest of his T22. He claimed this gave good reception. I would try this kind of arrangement before cutting any holes.
