Hello dear,
the problem i am facing with my R60 laptop is:
After starting the laptop when i run it for 2-consecutive hours, I get
the message on the task bar..
"Windows Virtual Minimum memory is too low.Windows is increasing the Virtual Memory page file size of the disk .During this operation, memory requests for some applications may not be granted."
and after this message my laptop hangs up and if some application is running then it is automatically closed. Then the laptop hangs and i have to restart the laptop only..No other option is available.
This happens even when no heavy application is running in the background.Even when i only hear songs for 2 hrs. then also it hangs up.
My settings are : My Computer(right click)--> Properties->Advanced->Performance settings->Advanced->Virtual Memory->Change->Custom (Initial size: 1024 MB and Max. size: 4096 MB)
My Configuation is : RAM : 512 MB, Operating system: MS Win XP SP2, HDD: 80 GB, Processor: Intel Core Duo (T2300@1.66 GHz), physical address extension
Can somebody help me out with this problem????
If Anybody has faced this situation before he/she can mail me: er.bhardwaj@gmail.com or reply to this post.
Awaiting for a reply
Thanks in Advance,
Pankaj.
