FS: Dell SXGA+ LCD Cable (New) and Dell inverter (Used)

#1 Post by tfflivemb2 » Wed Aug 22, 2007 9:15 am

I have some components that are left over from an LCD replacement for a friend. His Dell Inspiron 4150 (SXGA+) had a smashed LCD. I replaced the LCD with a new LCD. When I ordered the LCD, it came with an LCD cable and inverter. I replaced the LCD and the inverter, but didn't replace the cable, since there was nothing wrong with his. Soooooo....

I have a BRAND NEW Dell SXGA+ LCD cable (DD0TM7LC559) for sale: $30 shipped regular USPS.

...and a used Dell LCD inverter (2112TPNA) for sale: $14 shipped regular USPS.

I read that the SXGA+ LCD cable worked on the Inspiron 4100/4150's and the Latitude C640 (possibly more of the 600 series).

I also read that the inverter would work on the same models, but on both SXGA+ and UXGA LCDs.

For shipping outside the US, contact me first, and I will see if it is reasonable. (Warning: I may only acccept offers from established forum members outside of the US)

Pianowizard....you have lots of Dells...right?!?!? ;-)

None at the moment; the Dimension B110 in my sig is a desktop. I bought an Inspiron 4100 last week, tore it apart to transfer the 14.1" UXGA LCD to my T42, and then sold the remaining unit as barebones. But I just received an extra 14.1" UXGA LCD that would work with the cable and inverter you're selling. This LCD has pressure marks and some glue on the surface, but is still very usable. I bought it as a backup, but would be willing to sell it for $35 plus actual postage to whoever buys your inverter or cable . Hopefully this will give people some extra incentive to buy your stuff!

P.S. I can't believe this, I have almost as many posts as you now! I should get a life....

And my 14.1" UXGA screen is now only $35 plus postage! (Was $45 plus postage) It's a very rare screen!

UPDATE: I just started a a for-sale ad for this UXGA panel.

Will the LCD work in a T30?

I doubt it. There isn't a UXGA cable or inverter for the T30, and the ones for the T4* and R5* have the wrong shapes for the T30.
