What is the max resolution that I can have with the t61 14.1
Hi,
What is that maximum resolution that I can use with a t61 14.1 widescreen.
I got the one with the WWAN. I say this, because there is only one model available with it.
It is the Thinkpad T61 7658CTO.
When you click on h"help me decide", it shows that WXGA can support 1440x900. Now I am starting to think that maybe it can't.
Please advise.

I am looking at that "Help me decide" page. It says:
WXGA: Widescreen XGA
Resolution: 1280x720,1280×800, 1440×900, 1280x768
That's highly misleading and you ought to complain to Lenovo.

well wth the 14" i don't think you can get WUXGA but i think that was already stated above.
I am kinda wanting a 14" T61 non-widescreen also but i think the T61 WS in WSXGA+ would be sweeter!

I was just listing all the most common acronyms for widescreen display resolution.

I spoke with a manager at Lenovo and he agreed that it was misleading and canclled my order without a restocking fee.
They told me that the WXGA+ will be available in about 1 month.
I would take a WSXGA, but I also want the camera.
I want WWAN, Camera, 1440x900 and 14.1 inch. That combination currently doesn't exist.

camera? is it really that important? I guess if you have kids and want to show them to family members away or do conference meetings or something (or you're my girlfriend) then it would be good to get one integrated. She knows i love Thinkpads and mentioned to me to get that one even tho she's already jealous of my T42 so if i got a brand new T61 she'd be even more mad. LOL She told me to never EVER ask her for a Thinkpad as a gift, birthday, Fathers Day, Christmas, NOPE! I'm like ouch, cold... so cold!
