Excessive backlight bleed for a SXGA+?

#1 Post by BradS » Fri Aug 24, 2007 10:46 pm

Does anyone here think that this is excessive backlight bleed for the 14" SXGA+ screen?

Would it be worth my while to return this while I still can, or will I just end up with the same?

You did not mention which thinkpad it is, T60/p or T61/p?
"I've come a long, long way," she said, "and I will go as far,
With the man who takes me from my horse, and leads me to a bar."
The man who took her off her steed, and stood her to a beer,
Were a bleary-eyed Surveyor and a DRUNKEN ENGINEER.

I believe that is common symptom of all T61. My 14.1" widescreen also has that issue.
Now: X60s, T61, X61 Tablet
Past: R40, X41 tablet, T60

FS: $819 shipped T61 7664-16U

FS: $49 shipped Atheros a/b/g/n

Yes. For T61/p I have seen worst.

Same serious backlight bleeding with the TMD 14.1 SXGA+ here on a T61.
