Hotkeys display not working.

#1 Post by sai_iii » Sat Aug 25, 2007 3:53 pm

I inadvertently disabled a thinkvantage startup program (can't remember the name, something that started with THKVG maybe?) and now when ever I push any of the FN+ keys the green display that pops up doesn't any more but the actual function still works. I reinstalled the hotkey utility from the Lenovo website, but that didn't fix it. Anyone know a solution?

Enable TPOSDSVC.exe in the startup, restart your machine and see if it helps.
"I've come a long, long way," she said, "and I will go as far,
With the man who takes me from my horse, and leads me to a bar."
The man who took her off her steed, and stood her to a beer,
Were a bleary-eyed Surveyor and a DRUNKEN ENGINEER.
