A20M

#1 Post by dstrong » Sun Aug 26, 2007 8:22 am

I just installed a cdr/dvd drive on my laptop. I have already installed DVDExpress and it runs with no issues. To use the cdr with Windows 2K do i need any type of software to use the burner. I know in Windows XP its bundled into the OS. Thanks

Hello ! :)

You do need a software to burn your CD if you're using Windows 2000.

If you want a free one, then go for CD Burner XP Pro :

http://www.cdburnerxp.se/

Direct DL link :

http://www.cdburnerxp.se/downloadsetup.zip

If you prefer to pay, then you could give a try to Nero Burning ROM, or with Droppix :

Nero :

If you choose Nero, avoid the 7th version, as it's an heavy piece of bloatware... I'd go for Nero 6.

You can try it during 30 days. You can DL it right here :

http://ftp4.de.nero.com/software/Nero6/ ... .1.15a.exe

If you choose Droppix, then it's available here :

http://file.droppix.com/SetupDroppixRecorder2.exe

Don't forget :

Install only one burning software.

;)
