R30 -a Japanese keyboard?

#1 Post by Red_October_7000 » Sun Aug 26, 2007 9:33 pm

Simple, simple question, hopefuly a simple answer:
If I swapped out the keyboard on my US-market R30 for a Japanese keyboard, would everything work correctly on the Japanese keyboard? Would I have to change a setting, or is it more complex? That is all, thanks in advance!

Sir, open Keyboard Customizer Utility and change Thinkpad keyboard layout to Japanese.

Please first make sure you have Keyboard Customizer Utility installed.

With the man who takes me from my horse, and leads me to a bar."
The man who took her off her steed, and stood her to a beer,
Were a bleary-eyed Surveyor and a DRUNKEN ENGINEER.

I got that utility a while ago when I re-built it after the hard disk went Tango Uniform. Thanks! I'll grab me the Yapanese Keyboard.
