FS: Thinkpad R60, Laptop RAM, 8gb Flash, 160gb Seagate SATA
My grandparents died two weeks ago, and we got their car. Unfortunately, there are some repairs that need to be done, and I'm strapped for cash. So, I'm selling my spare laptop. Looking for $600 or best offer.
System is in perfect condition. I used it for typing at college, and it's a perfect machine.
Lenovo Thinkpad R60 9457-74u
Intel Core Duo T2300 (1.66ghz, virtualization enabled)
1GB PC5300 DDR (2x512mb)
40gb 5400rpm SATA hdd
DVD burner (hot-swappable)
14.1" SXGA+ (1400x1050) LCD, no dead pixels. Perfect.
Gigabit Ethernet
56k V.92 modem
Intel 3945ABG wireless
VGA
3 USB 2.0
firewire
6 cell battery (gets 3.5-4.5 hours of life, depending on how I use it)
PCMCIA slot
Expresscard slot
AC Adapter
Windows XP Pro with recovery CDs
Warranty through 08/20/2009
Additionally, I can upgrade from 1gb of RAM to 2gb of RAM for $40. I can also upgrade the hdd from 40gb to 160gb for $65
I'll also toss in a laptop bag
Software included: DVD Playback software, DVD burning software, OpenOffice for MS Word, Excel, Powerpoint compatibility, Adobe Reader, All Windows Updates done, MP3 encoding software, etc.
Other things for sale:
New Kingston RAM:
2x 1gb PC4200 DDR2 SODIMM: $70
1x 1gb PC5300 DDR2 SODIMM: $40
New WD 160gb SATA 5400rpm drive: $70
New Flash drives:
8gb Kingston: $60
New Kensington locks
I think I have 3. $20 per
Logitech MX Duo wireless keyboard & mouse: $30
MS Office 2007 Student & Home sealed retail (3 license): $100
I'll add more as I can think of it.
Don't really need anything new or for trade...it's not likely I'll find something that my tower or other laptop need as upgrades. I definitely need money for the car repair, title, registration, etc. Prices are shipped.

No, Grandpa went on Sunday. Grandma died on Wednesday...right as the funeral for her husband started. Made for a rather rough week.

My condolances as well...at least they're together as they've been throughout their time on Earth...
