Trouble: 22" wide LCD w/DVI @ 1680x1050 & replicato

Hi I am trying to use my 22" Samsung LCD monitor with my T42 with the port replicator II. I have the ATI radeon 9600 in there.

The VGA port works but the DVI will not show up. The VGA works after I hit [Fn]+[F7] and select (Dual Display: XGA Thinkpad and Analog) but why is there no Digital option in here?

Is there some other way to get the display to show up? I really really want to use DVI output and I've searched on the archives and it seems like people have been able to use it.

You need to configure your own Presentation Director profile with DVI out.

i figured it out, just had to update my video card drivers!

Weird how you can't use the radeon 9600 drivers from ATi website, but you gotta use the ones from ibm's site.
