Installed 1GHz CPU = Muted Playback Via Audio Interface

Hi

I jst swapped out my CPU this morning for the maximum 1GHz when I noticed muted sound playback through audio interface via USB1. The problem is not replicated through the laptop's on-board speakers.

Any of you experts come across this? Is the CPU draining power from the USB port???

I have been very thick here...

It was to do with the wave volume option.
