Nick, just checked my post. Didn't mean to steal your heat, so I'm adding this line. I think this ZeroShock sleeve is exceptional. For someone who wants one in the 12" size, this is a Must Have! This size would be for a Thinkpad or other laptop that is smaller than the 600E.

Bought the exact same bag at Narita Airport in Tokyo for my son's 600E. Got it home and the laptop wouldn't fit, though it was just a wee bit too small. I really like the case though....buy the 14 inch one if for the 600series Thinkpads....it is called "medium" size:

"Medium" dimensions (please measure your notebook and compare to interior figures!)
