I found these two poking around the yard this morning, it was quite a site to watch them following each other around, they are truly friends, they hung around for about an hour, snacked on some bugs or something and took off.

No, I did not see them eat any mice, my cat takes care of that :D .

kwoon, I have an idea what direction they came from , my neighbors have ponds, horses, etc. but I didn't know they had chickens, the duck visit the ponds around that the farmers use to irragate their fields, I guess they met around a pond and decided to go on a journey together.

Sweet!

Did the rooster crow?
"I've come a long, long way," she said, "and I will go as far,
With the man who takes me from my horse, and leads me to a bar."
The man who took her off her steed, and stood her to a beer,
Were a bleary-eyed Surveyor and a DRUNKEN ENGINEER.

Very cool pics Mike. I would love to have a rooster, certainly wouldn't need an alarm clock anymore. Amazing how animals can bond like that.

Wow, Mike! Is it common in North Carolina to find random farm animals on your property?
