All done

I've got the battery and will now retire the thread.

WTB: X31 battery with >90% capacity. Will also consider an extended life (dock connector) battery. PM with offers shipped to N2L 5S7 in Canada.

---

sold:
Available is one 256 MB stick of PC2100 / DDR226 RAM. It has finished 12 passes in memtest86 as I am typing this, two hours, twenty minutes of wall time with zero errors.

It has an "IBM Approval" sticker on it that says "FRU 10K0031". There is another sticker, indicating Mosel Vitelic as the manufacturer, and spec'ing it as PC2100 CL 2.5, assembled in Taiwan.

Asking 10 CAD shipped within Canada, 10 USD shipped to the U.S., 12 USD shipped elsewhere. Will ship in a padded envelope and a RAM tray.

---

gone:
I also have a Ultrabay 2000 ZIP drive that came with my dock. IBM P/N is 22P9114, FRU is 22P9115. The physical and mechanical condition seems to be fine. (I opened it up if it matters.) It's missing one outer screw connecting the caddy to the drive but seems secure. I am unable to test if it works as never in my life have I as much as held a ZIP drive in my hands. If anyone was wondering, the caddy won't fit an optical drive. I have exactly zero use for it, so it can be yours for the low low price of $0 plus rounded actual shipping.

PM sent on the ZIP drive. It will go nicely with the serial port external 250 Zip drive I have, and now I might be able to use it for more than just a paperweight!

.. or maybe I'll have two....

Common sense to some of us is unfortunately the higher education others strive to attain.
