memory question

I did a search and couldnt find anything

can our t series laptops use apple memory?

is it the same thing?

I believe so. I just went to crucial.com and looked up the memory that they sell for the Apple iBook and for the Thinkpad T23. Both have the same specs:

SDRAM, PC133 • CL=2 • Non-parity • 133MHz • 3.3V • 32Meg x 64

I believe some Apple modules have parity (i.e., ECC) bits, which I'm not sure would work in a Thinkpad. Some modules are also taller than the standard 1.25" height and will NOT fit inside the T2x memory bay (without major "adjustments" to the case).
