newbie linux - keytab problem

#1 Post by khair » Sat Oct 30, 2004 9:31 am

i just installed Suse 8.2 Pro on an thinkpad R50. Everything was great
except my modem and the keyboard mapping.
1. What the correct keytable for suse and thinkpad?
2. Are different configurations for X and terminal sessions?
3. If there are, whats the best way to change it

On windows we are using a Greek-Latin 319 keyboard

Kind Regards,

I hope you mean 9.2, since this is the most recent version. Yast should be able to switch to a greek keyboard layout.

I know that 9.1 is the most recent one but we installed 8.2 to try several "old things" because of the customer request.

I noticed that there are several keytab entries, which is the most appropriate for keyboard on Thinkpad?
