I have a T41 that I use as a "primary" machine and a T40 I have in reserver as a "backup" in case my T41 fails. However, the T40 appears to have a broken sound card, possibly because of its hardware.
In the event that my T41 fails for some reason and I want to tart using my T40: Does the sound-card hardware designed such that it can be transferred from the T41 to the T40? I suspect it can not be trasferred (eg, it may be built in to the motherboard), but I hope it does not hurt to ask.
If built in to the motherboard, I guess the question might become: can I transfer the T41 motherboard (assuming it's not broken) to the T40?
T41 sound card hardware transferrable to a T40?
