I’m buying a ThinkPad T61 with Windows Vista Ultimate. If I choose to do a clean install of XP and get ride of Vista, is it possible for me to download the XP version of Think Vantage and all the necessary drivers?
Thanks

yes you can. Just download system update and it will handle most of the drivers, and tv components. Any that you do not get from update, can be gotten from lenovos support site.
I recommend that you only use power manager and active protection, and let windows handle all the other tasks. The more TV components you add, the slower your computer runs and boots.

Sir, please refer to this page.
"I've come a long, long way," she said, "and I will go as far,
With the man who takes me from my horse, and leads me to a bar."
The man who took her off her steed, and stood her to a beer,
Were a bleary-eyed Surveyor and a DRUNKEN ENGINEER.
