This isn't IBM specific but you guys are a wealth of knowledge so I thought Id try my luck here. If you have a wireless laptop at 54mbs, is there any way of getting it to 108mbs with out swapping out wireless cards?
Thanks
John

Upgrading WIFI
With the Atheros based cards you can get it to connect at 108Mbps if you're using the right router. There's a registry hack you can use to enable the 108Mbps mode.
(Can't look it up now because i'm on Cellular EDGE speeds 144Kbps)
You'll also have to use the special software for the card otherwise Windows will always report 54Mbps.
